Multi-site reporting

Multi-site reporting for builders running more than one job

Running three sites usually means three WhatsApp groups, a spreadsheet you update on Friday, and a late call asking what happened on site. By 5pm you want one picture: who was on each job, what moved, what blocked, and the photos that prove it. Multi-site reporting is that picture, without chasing anyone for an update.

What a multi-site report should show

A useful end-of-day view across your jobs covers:

  • Progress on each live site (what got done today)
  • Labour on site (who turned up, which trade)
  • Open snags and defects, by site
  • Deliveries and materials that arrived
  • Blockers waiting on a decision or a trade
  • Photos of the day, filed to the right job

If any of those live only in someone's head or a private chat, the report is already late.

How BRCKS builds the report for you

Your team already posts updates in chat. In BRCKS, those messages, photos and voice notes are filed to the right job as they come in, so each site builds its own daily record without a separate admin step. At the end of the day you can review one site or roll every live job into a single view, then export when a client or office needs a dated record. It works on iPhone, Android and the web, so the office and the site see the same picture.

Setting up reporting across your jobs

Getting started does not mean changing how your team works. Create a job for each live site, add the people who work on it, and keep posting updates in chat as you do now. Subcontractors and clients join free, so the people actually doing the work can add photos and notes to the right job from day one.

  • Create one job per site, so every message and photo has a home
  • Invite the site team, trades and client contacts to each job
  • Ask for a short end-of-day update with photos from each site
  • Log snags and blockers as they come up rather than saving them for Friday
  • Review the day across all live jobs before you leave the office or the van

Within the first week, most of what used to go into a Friday spreadsheet is already filed by job and date. That gives you a record you can share with a client, check before a valuation, or point to when there is a question about who was on site and when. If you also need a written daily record, see the site diary app, and for defects across jobs, the snagging app.

Who uses it

  • Residential builders with 2–10 live jobs

Multi-site reporting questions

Can I see all my sites in one place?

Yes. Each job keeps its own chat and files, and you can roll live sites into one end-of-day view so you are not hopping between groups.

Can subcontractors post updates without the app?

Yes. BRCKS can sync with WhatsApp, so subbies can stay in the thread they already use while updates still file to the right job.

Can I export reports for clients?

Yes. Export a dated record per site or across sites when you need something to send on.

One picture of every live job.
