Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BRCKS, a project management platform for the construction industry.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing or using BRCKS, you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
BRCKS provides homeowners and construction specialists with tools for organising project timelines, tasks, communication and other project management activities.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for any content you upload or generate. You agree not to use BRCKS for unlawful purposes, upload harmful content, or infringe third-party rights.
4. Content Ownership
You retain rights to your content. You grant BRCKS a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and share it within the platform solely to provide the service.
5. Third-Party Integrations
BRCKS may offer integrations with third-party services; those are subject to their own terms.
6. Privacy and Data
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability
We strive for consistent service but do not guarantee uptime. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account by contacting support.
9. Liability Disclaimer
BRCKS provides project management tools but is not liable for delays, errors or project management issues arising from use of the platform.
10. Subscriptions, Seats and Billing
BRCKS is sold as a subscription per paid seat. A paid seat is a member of your own core team who signs into the web or mobile app. Subcontractors, trades and clients invited to a project are free and do not consume a seat. Published pricing is £40 per seat per month billed annually, or £50 per seat per month billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time from the billing area or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Additional seats added mid-term are charged pro rata.
11. Free Trials
New accounts may start a 14-day free trial of the full product. No payment is taken during the trial and you may stop at any point. If you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, the account moves to a read-only state and your data is retained for a reasonable period before deletion.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use BRCKS to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other customers' data, to reverse engineer the service, to resell access without our written agreement, or to use automated means to place unreasonable load on the platform. WhatsApp-based features are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and acceptable use policies.
13. Data Export and Deletion
Your project data remains yours. You can export records and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to any records we must retain by law. Deletion requests are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, the law or our business. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
